Creating a TEN account To create an account on TEN, use our software to dial New User Registration toll-free, and create an account presto pronto.
Before starting, though, you might want to decide on a screen name for yourself. You've got between 3 to 10 characters to invent your new you a chance to undo years of psychological damage imposed by your parents naming you Flipper. Keep in mind that you might get sick of "FREEBIRD" kinda quick-like so you might want to spend some time thinking about it. Once you've dug deep down into the bowels of your inner-game-playing-self, just follow these instructions to set up your account:
- Launch the TEN software by going to Start > Programs > TEN > Connect to TEN.
- Click on the "NEW USER" button in the lower right hand corner of the window.
- Select "Use TEN's toll-free registration number" for the easiest access to the New User registration system. Provided that your modem is properly configured, this will dial TEN's toll free user registration system. You can expect a brief wait while the updated list of TEN local access numbers as well as other information is downloaded for you.
- Fill in the information as requested. You will need to have a valid credit card in order to set up an account. You will also need to set up a screen name of 10 characters or less. If you didn't think of a screen name in advance, you'll have to be kinda' quick about it because if your connection to New User Registration is inactive for a long period of time, you'll lose it.
PLEASE NOTE : Your billing address for your credit card must match the address that you enter into Section 2 (Enter Name and Address) or else your credit card will be rejected.
