Database Engineer
In this role you will be responsible for supporting the analysis, design and deployment of projects related to TEN's Server Engineering Group.  You will be required to provide input to the logical data modeling and architecture team, analyze and document corporate application requirements, provide applications performance and optimization recommendations and occasionally lead small project teams.  Other responsibilities include ongoing application development and maintenance, develop stored procedures, provide 2nd level support to the Operation team, participate in design and architecture decisions providing alternatives and input relative to existing application and systems.  A BS in Computer Science or equivalent, 2-3 years of client-server development (Sybase or MS SQL Server preferred), working knowledge of high-level development environments like Powerbuilder or Visual Basic, and high level languages like C and C++ is a plus.  Proven experience with Sybase CT-LIB or other RDBMS client libraries, working knowledge of Win95 and/or Windows NT, knowledge of  UNIX concepts.  General knowledge of logical data modeling techniques and understanding of object-oriented technologies.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well proven success working in a fast-paced and growing industry.

Database Manager
You will be responsible for administration, maintenance, design and development of the corporate physical data model.  In this role you may be required to provide input to the logical data modeling and architecture team.  The primary responsibilities of the position include analysis and documentation of corporate physical database schemes, recommending performance and optimization solutions, leading small project teams, and performing ongoing database administration tasks such as monitoring the database and database dump and loads as well as adding new users.  Additional responsibilities include developing SQL scripts to implement the physical data model to create devices, tables and indexes, develop triggers and stored procedures, provide 2nd level support to the Operation Group and other related duties.  Qualified candidate will have 2-3 years of Relational Technology experience (Sybase System 10.x or 11.x), 1-2 years of database administration.  BS in Computer Science or BA in Management Information Science preferred.  Basic understanding of object-oriented technologies, logical data modeling techniques, Sybase physical design techniques and use of data modeling tools (Erwin preferred).  In-depth knowledge Win95/Windows NT, UNIX concepts and UNIX administration, SQL and ISO standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well proven success working in a fast-paced and growing industry.

UNIX System Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to assist with hardware and software administration and maintenance of Sun systems, as well as provide daily support to our operations team. You will also maintain and upgrade workstations, peripherals and data backups. Requires 1-2 years Sun system administration and UNIX (Solaris 2.x preferred) experience, plus excellent communication skills. A BS in EE/CS is preferred; Perl, C++ and shell programming experience is desired, TCP/IP and Internet experience is also required.
