Like most of the best things in life, TEN won't always be free. But it is pretty damn reasonable. TEN has two rate plan options, an hourly "Pay as You Play" plan and a flat rate "All You Can Eat" deal. Here's the dope:

Hourly Rate Plan
This plan is perfect for folks who expect to use TEN occasionally. You pay as you play on an hourly basis. There's a low, low hourly rate for the TEN service if you have your own great Internet connection and a small additional hourly charge if you want to connect through TEN's preferred Internet service provider, Concentric Network (via a local access number).

Suppose you are a member using 10 hours per month and connecting via Concentric Network with a local access number:

Flat Rate Plan
Just like dinner at the buffet restaurant on the corner, gorge yourself with as much greasy gameplay as you can stand for one flat price. This plan is tailored for gamers who want to play a lot and have a really good Internet connection from their home, office or school. It's also flexible enough so that you can use TEN's preferred Internet provider (for an additional charge) if your regular Internet connection isn't good enough or readily accessible.
